Please Help Me!

Hello Friends,

Oatie is in need of help. He had an accident that has caused him to have partial paralysis in his back legs. We rushed him over the hospital and after being checked by the vet, we were informed that Oatie's back has a Herniated disk in his spine. The vet explained to us that the spine is built like a line of soda cans (spinal bones) separated by jelly donuts (cartilage disks). The jelly donuts can burst and cause catastrophic failure of the spine. This is what is happening with Oatie.

Oatie was sent home with us and is on medications, but he will need an operation and we need financial help. First he will need an MRI to pinpoint the herniated disk, this is costing $1500. Then once the injury is located the vet can perform the operation, which is costing an additional $4000. Our options are to get the procedure done or put Oatie down. We will not put Oatie down and opted for the operation. Unfortunately, we can't afford this and will have to charge it to credit.

If you can please help us by donating to Oatie's operation, it will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your help!
Oatie, Roger & Katherine

Oatie Got Lost

Then he was found.

This dog is crazy. I was looking for him one morning and he was not in the back yard. This sucker dug a hole under the fence. I was looking around the whole neighborhood for about 15 minutes before I found him. He was chasing a cat around the entire hood. When I caught him, he tried to go back from where he came like he never saw me. I said Hey! then he stopped. I picked him up and he was trembling as if he new he was in trouble. I put him in is kennel for about the same time he had me going crazy searching for him.

Crazy Dog!!!

Pre days

This is the beginning of the life events of my buddy Oatie.

I purchased Oatie when he was 3 months old. I new once I saw and interacted with him that he would be my best friend. It has now been two years since Oatie & I became buddies. He has come a very long way since his pissing and chewing days. He has grown to be very obedient and wise. He doesn't know many tricks, but has an unbelievable personality. When I talk to him, he sits and listens as if he understands every word. He knows almost every mood I'm in and is always by my side. I managed to teach him a few tricks, but have gotten a little lazy with doing so. As of this moment Oatie can, on command; Sit, Paw/Five, go in circles, Fetch, run, Play Dead, and Looks for anything suspicious when I say LOOK!
